3 Person Yoga Poses

The following three person yoga poses will challenge your coordination and balance. This inversion yoga pose requires two people to work together to maintain balance. The base person will be lying on their back with knees bent and feet planted hip-width apart. The second participant should kneel on the ground with their shins at either side of the base’s head. They should be facing the base and place their hands on the practitioner’s upper back. The variations of this yoga pose will vary according to your own body size and shape.

Throne Pose

Throne Pose is a 3 people yoga pose that can be challenging, but it also helps you develop poise and balance. This pose requires two people to support each other and one to elevate the third person’s back two inches. Both people should also engage their cores while the two base people support each other.

Triangle Pose

Triangle Pose is a basic, three person yoga pose. The goal is to align your torso, legs, and feet. Your front leg should be straight. Your lower hand should rest on the floor, not directly on your knee. This pose helps build strength and balance and can be a great way to start your day.

Lord of the Dance Pose

Lord of the Dance Pose is a challenging 3 person yoga pose and requires a lot of flexibility and determination. It opens the chest, stretches the hamstrings, and increases spinal flexibility. It is important to warm up for this pose so that your spine, hips, and shoulders are flexible.

Camel Pose

One of the most challenging 3 person yoga poses is Camel Pose. This pose requires an accurate alignment of the hips and shoulders. To make the pose as safe and effective as possible, it is important to practice the proper technique, such as keeping the thighs together.

Upward Dog Pose

Upward Dog is a backbend that can be challenging for the entire body. This pose involves lifting the thighs, hips and knees off the floor. In order to maintain proper posture and alignment, the shoulders should be pulled away from the ears and the palms should be pressed under the shoulders.

Foot to Hand Pose

This three person yoga pose is a challenging balancing exercise. It requires the participants to stand with their feet about four feet apart. As they reach out with their arms, they should make sure that their hands are parallel to the floor. The pose helps tone the legs and improve stability in the lower body. It also stretches the hamstrings.
